Alejandro Rodriguez

Front-End Developer

About

A photo of me.

Hi, I'm Alejandro. I'm a front-end developer from Central Florida. I recently graduated from New York University with a BFA in theatre, but decided I wanted a different career path. My lifelong love for STEM, my passion for learning and my desire to be creative led me to web development. It's been a long journey that I'm very proud of. Check out my work.

Reddit Clone

Made with: React, React-Router-DOM, Firebase, TailwindCSS

Use my Reddit clone exactly as you would the Reddit you know and love. You are able to browse, post, comment, upvote, check out a subreddit, and more. Sign in with your Google account and get to exploring!

Clothes Line

Made with: React, React-Router-DOM

Built to emulate an online clothing store, in this React app you are able to browse my store "Clothes Line." Once you find something you like, add it to your shopping cart, adjust its quantity should you want an extra, or remove it if you change your mind.

Weather App

Made with: OpenWeather API, HTML, CSS, Javascript

In my weather app, you can punch in any city in the world to find out what the weather is like there. This is done by making a call to the OpenWeather API where the current temperature and weather conditions are returned. The UI will update to reflect the received information.

Battleship

Made with: HTML, CSS, Javascript

This is my rendition of the classic game Battleship. Battle against an AI in the race to sink your opponent's ships first.
